競技用フレームの歴史は長く、1960年代には、現代に通ずる殆ど形は完成されていたと言っても過言ではないでしょう。
基本的なフレームの仕様はオーソドックスな物ではあり、材料もスチールフレーム全般ではあまり変化は見受けられません。しかし同じ道具、同じ材料で作る物でも現代に生きる職人が作るフレームにはまた新しい魂が吹き込まれます。
自転車の歴史に敬意ははらい製作されたフレームです。

スピードの敵、それはいつの時代も空気の壁です。 時速30kmでは全抵抗の約76%を空気抵抗が支配しています。 スピードマスターは車高を極限まで落とし自転車その物の前面投影面積を大幅にカットする事により、絶大なエアロダイナミクス効果を生み出します。 また、前面投影面積の80%を越えるとも言われるライダー自体の抵抗も、斬新な発想のライディングフォームを実現するセンターバーにより軽減されます
Drag is the natural enemy of speed-at 30 kph some 76% of rider power is estimated to be consumed by air resistance. CHERUBIM Speed master, with the bottom bracket height lowered to the limit and an innovative riding position, has succeeded in greatly reducing the projected frontal area and, as a result, dramatically improving the aerodynamic performance of the bike and rider.

We believe that the real strength of a custom frame building does not lie in skills or experience of a builder but the fact that he or she has total control over the entire design and building process of a bike. The closest attention is paid to every detail from rider characteristics, frame fitting and choice of materials and components to tube cutting and welding processes including the order of welding. Each frame and bicycle built this way is a direct reflection of the individuality, concept and expertise of the builder. Large companies make good bikes. But custom frame builders can and do make great contribution to the future of bicycle and we at CHERUBIM take pride in building our frames and bikes as a part of such progress.

長距離走行でも疲れ知らずのしなやかな乗心地とレース等でのダッシュ時の反応の良さを高次元で両立させた究極のスチールバイク。
- 緩やかなカーブを描いたシートステーはしなやかな乗り味だけで無くその美しいスタイルは新たなスチールフレームのスタンダードを予感させます。
- 大口径のチェーンステー、限界まで詰められたリアセンター、やや高めのBB高は反応の良さに貢献しています。
- BBと各パイプの接合部は、それぞれオフセットして接合され、より溶接面積は広く取られクランク周りの強度は格段にアップしています。またシートチューブをオフセットさせる事によりリアセンターも通常より限界まで詰める事が出来ます。
